Manufacturing pálinka, the protected national fruit brandy variety of Hungary is the merging of centuries old traditions with the use of modern techniques and hard work. Mashed, distilled, matured and bottled only in Hungary, these special types of Hungarian spirits are best served at room tempreture and in a tulip-shaped glass to let the taste and smell shine.

Our famed Agárdi Distillery near Agárd and Lake Velence is where the proverbial magic happens that gets pálinka lovers all excited. Picture a classic Central-European manor surrounded by fruit trees, where sour cherry, apricot, ripened plum, juicy cherry and other healthy fruit sights and scents delight the visitors. This is where we’ve been making our elegant and spicy national spirit, the Hungarian pálinka for the last 15 years.

Limited quantity

The Lake Velence region offers circumstances for fruit growing trully resembling that of the Garden of Eden – and as such, we must respect the gifts of nature by not overusing them. Quality overcomes quantity as healthy, ripened fruit must be distilled with the most perfect procedure: Agárdi fruit spirits are released with individually numbered bottles, in limited numbers. The value of this process and initiative has been proven through countless national and international acknowledgements.

A masterpiece that has captured the thousand aromas and flavours of the fully ripened, juicy fruit. Intense jammy notes on the nose, and the same character dominates the palate. Charmingly pleasant, fruity drink with long finish. A favorite among pálinka lovers.

Best consumed at room temperature as apéritif or digestif.
